INTENDED ACTIVITIES

Shop & manual work — denim abrasion resistance holds up to tools, surfaces, and repeated movement.

Motorcycle riding — full sleeve coverage and structured fabric for casual rides and cooler air.

Western / casual wear — a classic denim look that pairs across everyday outfits.

Cool-weather layering — works over a tee or under a jacket as temperatures drop.

FIT & SIZING

This shirt runs true to size with a regular fit through the chest and shoulders, leaving enough room for a base layer underneath in cooler conditions. If you plan to wear it over a heavier mid-layer or prefer a looser drape, consider sizing up one step. Denim tends to soften and conform with wear, so the initial structured feel relaxes over time. Refer to the size chart for measurements before ordering.

Great quality cotton shirt that fits true to size and lasts through washes

I ordered this in 3X-Large and it fits true to size with plenty of room for movement. The shoulders sit right where they should without any weird bunching or pulling at the seams. You can roll up those sleeves easily enough and they stay rolled up nicely when you're working outside all day.

The material feels like real denim but stays soft enough to wear directly against your skin for long shifts.

Those double chest pockets are actually deep enough to hold a phone and wallet at the same time without bulging out too much. Each pocket has a button-through flap that stays closed when you move around all day long. The badge accent on the left pocket adds a nice touch of detail that makes it look more expensive than the price tag suggests.

The buttons are sturdy metal discs that don't pop off even when you pull hard on them. This shirt goes just as well with jeans as it does with khakis for different looks throughout the week. It dries pretty fast after washing which is nice when you need to wear it again quickly.

I think this shirt offers great value for the money since it feels much more expensive than what you actually pay for it. The quality of construction matches shirts that cost twice as much in regular stores. You get a solid work shirt that can handle daily abuse without falling apart after a few months of use.

Pros:

Thick cotton denim fabric holds up well to washing and wear

Deep chest pockets with secure button flaps hold your gear safely

True to size fit works great for larger builds like mine

Color stays deep blue even after multiple wash cycles

Metal buttons stay attached firmly during heavy use

Cons:

None, a perfect fit.

Sharp Looking Long Sleeve Denim Shirt

While browsing online, I discovered the dark blue FREDD MARSHALL denim cargo shirt and decided to order it. This long-sleeve shirt is made from 100% soft, breathable cotton in a lightweight denim-style weave, featuring attractive faded distressing and rustic copper contrast stitching. Its rugged and premium appearance makes it suitable for both work and casual wear.

The fit is true to size and comfortable, with a regular cut that allows for plenty of movement without feeling bulky. The length of both the torso and sleeves is perfect, and the shoulder width accommodates the center box pleat, ensuring unrestricted movement. The material feels soft and becomes even softer with each wash, offering surprising comfort and breathability for everyday wear, unlike traditional denim, which can be heavy and stiff. I feel the stitching color is redder than copper, but it still works. It feels pleasant against the skin and has moisture-wicking properties, making it ideal for warm Florida days.

Additionally, the shirt features double chest pockets with button-through flaps and a badge accent, which add practical functionality and rugged character. It's machine-washable, making it easy to care for. At just $19.99, it offers exceptional value for the quality of the stitching, buttons, and overall craftsmanship.

The bleached area was to pronounced

This shirt does not look like the product photo. It unfortunately looks like bleach got spilt on it. On the front and the back of it. I was going to gift it to my son but I feel that I need to actually try and wash it a few more times. The material does look and feel great though. The buttons look good. Unfortunately at this moment because of how it looks, no one wants it. It does fit well. Just doesn't look very well.

Nice quality shirt with a good looking, rugged look for a decent price

I ordered this shirt in a size large, my normal size, and chose the light blue variation. It has a slightly slimmer than regular fit. It is comfortable to wear & doesn't feel bulky. If you are tall like I am at 5’11”, there is plenty of length in the torso and sleeves. I can wear it tucked in if I like and the sleeves cover my wrists when I outstretch my arms. There's enough width in the shoulders with the center box pleat to allow comfortable movement without feeling constricted. It pretty much runs true to size but if you like a looser fit, I'd suggest sizing up.

The light blue color isn't as bright & bold as the pictures in the description. It's a softer tone that looks like chambray blue. It's a good looking color that I really like.

The thin, lightweight fabric is soft & comfortable. Since it is 100% cotton, it will continue to get softer with each wash. It resembles denim but is not denim. This is a good quality, cotton chambray type material. It has good drape and doesn't feel heavy like denim. It is very breathable and moisture wicking, making it extremely comfortable to wear on warmer days.

The seams are solid & sturdy. The stitches are small & tight. It is constructed well and should be quite durable. The rusty orange contrast stitching gives the shirt a rugged appearance & a premium quality look.

I like the antique brass color of the buttons but I don't like how thin they are. They feel plastic-like and flimsy. They are somewhat difficult to maneuver through the button holes because of their thin, concave shape.

It has two functional chest pockets with a single button closure. They each have an inverted pleat sewn in, which is a nice detail.

The shirt is machine washable & can be tumbled dry on low heat. I washed it inside out in cold water on a regular cycle. I put it in the dryer for about 3 minutes, then immediately removed it & hung it to dry. I didn't notice any shrinkage & there was minimal wrinkling. It can be pressed with a warm iron if needed.

At $19.99, this long sleeve, button up shirt is a good value for the money. It's a nice quality shirt with a good looking, rugged look for a decent price.

A straightforward everyday work shirt

The fit lands right where I expect my normal size to, so I don't have to guess about sizing. It has the look of a denim work shirt, though the material is lighter than a heavy shirt meant for rough jobs. I can wear it as a regular button-up, and it does what I need from that kind of shirt. Nothing about the fit feels unusual or calls for adjusting how I wear it.

The chest pockets hold my things fine, but they aren't especially deep, so I wouldn't count on them for larger items. That keeps them useful for small basics, though they don't add much carrying room. The long sleeves and button front make it easy to wear on its own or over another shirt. I like that it stays simple and doesn't ask much of me. It isn't a standout piece, but the fit is right and it gets the job done for me.

Not actually Denim but comfortable and looks/feels good

This isn’t an actual Denim shirt but overall it has the Denim style to it for most part. It’s comfortable being 100% cotton and looks and feels good on the few times I’ve worn it.

Which honestly has only been twice and neither time was for long since it’s still HOT out, So I tried it on when it arrived and looked it over then a week or so later after I picked up a new pair of Timberland boots I threw together an outfit just to see how it would look.

So I haven't worn it longer than about 20min altogether.

The quality and the material from the little time I wore it and looked it over is nice and light it’s not however that rugged look as much as it shows in the pictures or that feel you get from an actual Denim Shirt/Pants/Jackets.

So if that’s what you’re looking for and wanting this isn’t that.

Normally when I pickup a new piece of clothing online that I have no idea how it fits I for most part get a size bigger, depending on what the clothing piece is.

This I took the risk and went with regular size I order and thankfully it worked out fine.

I went with the Light Blue version and glad I did, I like the look of it and it seems like it’s at a pretty fair price as well.

I’d pickup another style Shirt from the FREDD MARSHALL brand in the future.

Casual denim appearance, lightweight cotton material, and everyday piece

Wearing denim on most days of the week has been one of my goals when it comes to my everyday style, and I especially enjoy pairing denim shirts with denim pants, even when the colors are not exactly the same. For me, the important thing is that the pieces have a similar denim character while still complementing each other, and this particular long-sleeve denim shirt does a good job of achieving that look. The shirt is made of lightweight cotton and comes entirely in a light blue color, with four distressed-looking areas that gradually fade into a whitish appearance. These faded sections give the shirt a slightly stylish and casual character without making the design look overly distressed. The overall design is fairly simple, resembling a traditional long-sleeve shirt, but it has two chest pockets that add some functionality and visual interest. There is nothing particularly elaborate about the design, but I actually like how the light blue color and strategically placed faded areas make it more interesting than an ordinary denim shirt. The material is lightweight enough to be comfortable for everyday wear, and I can easily see myself wearing it regularly, either with denim pants or other casual bottoms. The stitching is generally neat and seamless, with only one minor issue around the brand name located on one of the chest pockets. The stitching extends approximately one-eighth of an inch beyond the pocket, and the loose-looking thread is an orange-brown color. It should be relatively easy for me to fix with a little careful sewing, so this is not a major concern.

I ordered the shirt in a small size, but when I tried it on, it appeared to fit more like a medium in certain areas. There were some sections with extra room that made the shirt look slightly oversized rather than like a standard small. Personally, I do not consider this a serious problem because I know how to sew and can make minor alterations to adjust the fit according to my preference. In fact, having some extra room can be useful when altering clothing, since it is generally easier to take a garment in than to make it larger. My main concern is with the product advertisement describing the shirt as “true to size.” I think that description can be somewhat misleading because clothing sizes are based on general measurements, while people's bodies naturally differ in proportions even when they normally wear the same labeled size. Someone who regularly wears a small may have narrower shoulders but a wider waist, or longer arms and a shorter torso, for example, so there will always be individual differences in how a garment fits. In my case, the small shirt was wearable but had enough extra space in certain areas to make it feel closer to a medium. Overall, I like the shirt for its lightweight cotton material, casual denim appearance, light blue color, and attractive faded details, and I think it works well as an everyday piece. However, I would recommend removing or reconsidering the “true to size” claim from the advertisement and instead providing accurate measurements so customers can compare them with their own body measurements and make a more informed choice.
